Type A Top Rod Variable Spring Hanger are designed for use in an area with unlimited headroom. The top plate housing is a rod that allows the nib to be attached to a mount. Variable Spring Hangers Type A are designed to be attached to its support member by screwing a rod into a threaded hex nut in the top plate of the hanger to the full width of the top plate. Featuring an adjustable spring mechanism and robust top rod design, it ensures optimal stress distribution across thermal expansions, mechanical vibrations, and dynamic operating conditions.

Installation

Screw the anchor bolts on the beam into the threaded holes of the hanger's top plate and secure them with nuts. Then, threadedly connect the lower end of the adjusting nut to the upper threaded end of the pipe hanger rod. Rotate the adjusting nut until the indicator plate aligns with the corresponding scale mark for the hanger's installation load, ensuring the positioning block can be easily removed (note: the positioning block should not be removed at this stage but retained until prior to system operation). Finally, lock the assembly in place with a nut.
